Concept

In the historical patchwork of the town of Evreux, the Iton and its numerous arms, which flow from the Eure, preserve the framework and the traces of the urban experience. That is why it seemed impossible to circumvent it.

Since 2002, the walk of the Iton has become an invitation to the wandering and the discovery of Evreux. Beyond that, the idea of ​​the light plan is to offer the city a nocturnal identity of an original, valorizing and attractive, but also representative of its reality and respectful of its past. Initiated with the nocturnal development of the Iton, these objectives were achieved with that of certain monuments of its heritage.

Thus, the Belfry, the Episcopal Palace and the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Evreux were highlighted. Today, special attention is paid to the Town Hall which will soon dress up its dress of light.
