Concept

Sancerre, known for its vineyards, seeks to diversify its tourist attractions. It is perched on a hill that allows it to be visible at tens of kilometers. Light was therefore quickly a stake for the city.

As part of the Sancerre lighting plan, the entire historic village has benefited from lighting, a requalification of its public lighting and a scenographic route guiding us in its four corners from May to September. In this context, the Town Hall, the church, the different streets and squares, … have been highlighted by a work of light, always inscribed in a process of tourism and sustainable development.

The lighting is divided into two main axes: Classical lighting, sober and delicate to emphasize the details of the surrounding buildings and their roofs, and the festive declination where the combinations of different ranges of colors give a new face to the village.

The whole installation can be controlled via a smartphone or a touch pad, which brings flexibility and simplicity in terms of use.
