Lighting Master Plan

Concept

Dakar’s agglomeration is today the capital of the region and Republic of Senegal. It is one of the four historic communes of Senegal and the former capital of French West Africa (AOF).

The aim is to ensure coherence throughout the agglomeration. It is a question of responding to security and quality of life issues while homogenizing the lighting equipment by urban sector. The priority is to provide the city  the means to extend and renovate its existing public lighting park. Two types of lamps have been selected based on their performance and the road network. Thus, maintenance is simplified, costs are reduced and storage is facilitated.
